I think everybody has seen videos of Haitians living in tin shacks with CLEAN clothes and big white smiles. Look at white America and we get big houses, dingy pajamas and no smiles. I think hardship -- though not starvation, rampant disease, medical suffering and that sort of preventable manufactured scarcity nonsense -- is the secret to experiencing and appreciating moments of contentment.
